33 years later!

Thank you.

I would like to thank the voters of Ward Four for electing me to serve as your representative on County Council for the upcoming term. Congratulations to David, on his success as well. We will be working together to ensure the interests of our ward are best served and working to make Brant County the best it can be.

Thank you to Marilyn and Laura for your efforts and being class candidates in the election process. As we move forward into the new term please stay involved and feel free to provide me with your advice and concerns. Friendships are made in many ways and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you better.

I too have travelled a bit. I taught Chemistry for two years in a private school in Switzerland. I got to travel to a lot of interesting places. And I got to do a few interesting things. The Pont du Gard was built over 2000 years ago. It was built by the Romans as an aqueduct to carry water to the ancient Town of Nimes. The top is about 2 metres wide. I walked across the top from one end to the other. What was I thinking?

There’s no better place to grow up than on a farm in Ward Four. I’ve lived here all my life. Marie moved to London. She turned out ok but I bet she wishes she was back home on Fairfield Road.

By the way, the snowplow knocked down the mailbox a long time ago. I had to get a new one.
